That said this was a nice read full of action, though I did also sort of feel I'd have liked some deep begging from Vik but then Aiden should've been the one demanding it and all indications were he is and will remain a bit of a pushover and the main conciliator in the relationship.

The connection between the two men is obvious, instantaneous, and distant, even if the distant part is of Viktor's making all on his own. The mystery flowed beautifully and kept my interest from page one to the last, which I never wanted to come.
